Its been so exciting getting all the new pitch information up on the site. We hope to keep improving. And as a special thank you we would like to give you, for a very limited time only, a little taster of what we’ve been working on. THIS COULD BE A WORLD FIRST FOR THE GAA!
In collaboration with the Wikitude App we have added all of our pitches to their wonderful “Agumented Reality” platform.
What does that mean:
Download the Free Wikitude App for your Phone to Find out:
- Google Play Click to Download
- App Store Click to Download
- Windows Store Click to Download.
Once downloaded simply type “GAA Pitches” (Our Your County Name plus “GAA Pitches” i.e Fermanagh GAA Pitches) into the All Worlds Search and see all the pitches in your surrounding area on the camera view of your phone. Its that simple! Look around you using the camera view within Wikitude. The Pitch Marker will area on the screen as you look in their direction. Max Distance 100 miles)
- Use the Map to Show All the Pitches
- Use the List View to show how far you are away from a Pitch.
- Use the Radar to find Pitches in your area by rotating the phone.
- Use Settings to reduce or increase the distance to include in the search.
- i.e if you are in a built up area you may only want to show pitches within 1 mile. Where as in the Country you may want to show the location of pitches with 5 miles.
